Paul Hover

Drs. Paul Hover (1976) is senior researcher at the Mulier Institute and coordinator of The Netherlands Olympic Study Network. He studied Sports Economics and Communication at Fontys Hogescholen in Tilburg, Leisure Sciences at Tilburg University and at the University of Technology in Sydney. His research focusses on policy-related and marketing/economic aspects of sports. He is especially interested in the impact of sport events. He was editor/author of for example ‘The story of Rio 2016’ (2017), ‘The story of London 2012’ (2013), ‘Evaluation of the UCI Road World Championships 2012’ (2012), and ‘European Youth Olympic Festival Utrecht 2013, impact and experiences’ (2013).
